Story so far
Big Boy Blue is a level-40 jellyfish that floats in drifting sentinel-clusters roughly twenty feet above the wreck of the Akula, each about fifteen feet in diameter with long dangling tentacles. Their map-dots are white — not naturally hostile — and the System's bestiary compares them to the harmless, dim high-school lug who does damage only because he's too dumb to get out of your way. Vadim warns Katia Grim the big blue ones will wrap around anyone who touches them but otherwise leave you be; the real danger is the smaller white 'pain amplifier' jellyfish.
Katia steers her landing between them to reach the hull unmolested.
Appearance
A huge, glowing blue jellyfish roughly fifteen feet across, with long ominous tentacles trailing beneath its bell, drifting and bouncing off its neighbors.
Role
A giant passive deep-sea hazard over the Akula, harmful only on contact.
