Hump Town

A walled Dromedarian brothel-city in the Air Quadrant, its sail-awnings furling against sandstorms, its economy built entirely on prostitution.

Story so far

Hump Town is the camel settlement hunched against the northwest curve of the Necropolis of Anser's Air Quadrant bowl, its riveted-metal walls and enchanted sail-awnings shielding it from the daily sandstorms. Laid out in nested semicircles — residences and barracks on the outer ring, shops and training guilds within, the towering off-limits City Hall at the center, and inns and a Desperado Club on "Hump Street" — it is a brothel town whose gatekeeper Clay demands "gold, drugs, or pleasure" to enter. When the storm dies, camels swarm the walls on steampunk stilts to furl the great striped sails atop City Hall like soft-serve minarets.

The party shelters here at the tavern The Toe.

Appearance

A semicircular desert town of adobe and rusted metal augmented with steampunk exoskeletons, ringed by twenty-foot riveted walls and blue-and-white striped enchanted sail-awnings, smelling of smoke, oil, and dirt.

Role

The party's safe-haven town and base in the Air Quadrant, a brothel economy caught in a three-way standoff over the floor.
