Surprised to see Carl's group return after a god's rampage, he confirms 'the prophet is dead,' notes all his food supplies vanished (leaving only cans of Jimbo soup and crackers thanks to Carl's failed quest), and directs Carl toward the nearest Desperado Clubs — one a crater over, another lost to bloodworms since the Rat Queen died. Carl tosses him a gold coin, which he fumbles.
