Story so far
The Scroll of Meat Hooks is a spell scroll the party has held since the third floor, where a city elf once used one to lure Mongo into an alleyway. Cast, it makes the caster's hand pour rancid black smoke — a stench likened to a bloated muskox corpse — that irresistibly draws all carnivorous pet-class mobs (bonded or not) to its source for 30 seconds plus ten per point of Intelligence, at a range of 100 meters plus 20 per point of Charisma. Princess Donut's huge Charisma (120) and Intelligence give it a ~9-minute duration and nearly 3-kilometer range — enough to lure the mountainous puppy Orthrus out of bubble 543 and across the Lacuna.
Its flaw: there's no off-switch, so the choking smoke keeps flowing the entire duration.

A one-use spell scroll; when cast, produces a plume of foul black smoke from the caster's hand.
