Scolopendra

A looming threat the Larracos college needed the Gate artifact to defeat — now, per Tish, doomed to victory by Ghazi's failure.

Story so far

Scolopendra is named only in Tish's furious note appended to the Council letter: 'Scolopendra will never be defeated now. We needed that artifact.' The implication is that the college sought the Gate of the Feral Gods not for teleportation research but as a weapon against Scolopendra — some grave enemy or menace — and that Ghazi's obsession with Lika, which cost them the artifact, has now ensured Scolopendra cannot be stopped. Nothing more of its nature is yet known, but it hints at a larger conflict beyond the dungeon bubble.

Appearance

Unknown; named only as an undefeatable threat (the name evokes a centipede).

Role

A mysterious larger threat the college needed the Gate to defeat — left unbeaten by Ghazi's failure.

Relationships

Tish — Who names it as the enemy now doomed to triumph because of Ghazi.
Larracos College of Magecraft — The council that needed the Gate artifact to defeat it.
