Scrapheap Breastplate

Bomo's Scrap Armor

The Scrapheap Breastplate is Bomo's deliberately fragmented armor, with dozens of metal plates and daggers sewn separately onto cloth to maximize Phantasm targets.

Story so far

Carl assembles the breastplate at his armorer's table by sewing individual unenchanted metal chunks onto a fabric undershirt and filling gaps with trash-tier daggers. Matching pieces cover Bomo's arms, legs, and head.

The construction keeps every fragment disconnected while still making the whole collection one equipped suit. Laundry Day therefore launches the pieces outward like a fragmentation grenade.

Once recently equipped, every plate and dagger becomes eligible for individual possession by Legionnaires of the Damned. The pieces dissipate after the summoned legion ends, making the elaborate equipment disposable.

Appearance

A crude mechlike suit made from separately sewn spikes, plates, knives, and missile-bearing shoulder pads.

Role

The breastplate is the engineered substrate that turns one armored ally into an army of anti-spirit projectiles.

Relationships

Bomo — He wears the armor before Donut strips it away.
Carl — He designs and constructs it specifically for the exploit.
Phantasm — Its disconnected pieces become the possessed swarm.
