Story so far

The stepmother returns from the allium pots in tears, smoking and hiding retrieved vials. Carl's father demands his boost and complains that she helped Mrs. Tomlinson instead of attending him.

She goes to the back with a syringe and new IV bag, softly tells Asher to stay in his room, and administers the dose. Her reply that it is finally time makes the intent explicit.

Carl refuses to witness the final moments and visits Asher instead. The father later speaks in a desperate, slurred voice from the living room with no one present to answer.

Zev confirms everything before the timer reaches zero is an authentic recording of that day rather than a fabricated scenario.

Appearance

A nurse injecting an IV beside a dying man while a child is sheltered in the back room.
