Residual Bin Trade

Orren-Carl Stash Exchange

Carl surrenders the Residual container for one wand recharge, three Cracker Jack scrolls, and four NPC service permissions through the ninth floor.

Story so far

Orren threatens lethal enforcement if Carl refuses to surrender the stash. Quasar's ownership argument prevents a clean confiscation, and Carl offers to trade because he wants to finish the floor rather than prolong the dispute.

The system AI assigns the bin a surprisingly low exchange value. Carl receives a wand recharge scroll, three Cracker Jack scrolls, and permission to retain four established NPC allies for the ninth floor. Orren refuses to include the Gate of the Feral Gods because it would let Carl bypass the final eighth-floor phase.

Appearance

A battered storage bin on one side of a scale and four service tokens with four scrolls on the other.

Role

The exchange contains forbidden technology while preserving modest immediate and next-floor value for Carl.

Relationships

Carl — He voluntarily accepts the low-value exchange.
Orren — He removes the prohibited items and grants the consideration.
Quasar — His legal argument makes compensation necessary.
System AI — Its valuation controls the available trade value.
