The Experience

Experience

The Experience is a level-55 canine-shaped guardian of the dead whose crude revolutionary styling and weak showing suggest the dungeon has distorted local mythology.

Story so far

The first monster Carl and Donut meet near Havana's coast has a huge bearded human head resembling Che Guevara, a glowing red beret, rigid front legs, and a wolf-sized body. It barks and screams like a person imitating a dog.

Its description calls it a powerful guardian from pre-Columbian Taíno folklore, but Donut's attacks overwhelm it. Mute prevents its unknown spell, and Why Are You Hitting Yourself makes it savage its own leg until it dies. The corpse drops both the beret and a rare Combo card.

Appearance

A huge brown-and-white doglike body with straight front legs, an oversized bearded human head, and a glowing red beret.

Role

The Experience introduces the zone's inaccurate mythological monsters and demonstrates that ordinary kills can yield T'Ghee cards.

Relationships

Princess Donut — She burns, silences, compels, and kills it.
Combo — The rare utility card appears in its inventory.
The Experience's Red Beret — Its enchanted hat survives as Donut's loot.
