Story so far

The youngest hydra head copies Carl's newly discovered brother and carries a lightning attack and corresponding resistance. Its voice is unnaturally amplified and adult-heavy.

It demands to know why Carl never visited and says it also wishes they had known each other. Other heads repeatedly shield it from Carl's bombs, forcing him to remind himself the echo is not Asher's consciousness.

Carl asks Shi Maria to identify and end the head quickly. She establishes a direct mental link, says she understands, swallows and bites off the neck, and tells Carl the echo of his kin has been muffled.

Appearance
