Carl activates Protective Shell against Madre de Aguas and explosively throws nearly every nearby combatant away.

Story so far

After Ines flees, the enraged city boss lunges at Carl. He activates Protective Shell at the last moment.

The sudden expanding defense sends ordinary zombies, demon shells, fish, crabs, seals, Hoan Kiem, and the giant snake flying into woods and surrounding terrain as if a bomb detonated. Mongo and one clockwork copy remain close, while Geraldo continues away on his own.

The blast injures Madre and briefly clears enough space for Donut to summon Lazarus and search for Quan.

Appearance

A transparent spherical barrier erupting from Carl and hurling an entire mixed army outward.

Role

The defensive spell converts certain boss impact into a full-area reset and creates the only tactical pause.

Relationships

Carl — He triggers the shell against the lunging snake.

Madre de Aguas — The boss takes damage and is thrown away.

Hoan Kiem — The turtle is launched into the woods.
