Church Controlled Demolition
Chris, Zhang, allied crawlers, and strippers begin dismantling the church so they can protect its saferoom entrance and tunnel beneath its stairwell chamber.
Story so far
Carl chooses the church stairwell because the capitol alternative is miles away and buried under far more debris. The surviving key only admits one person, and neither Carl nor Imani will use it.
Chris regrets destroying the beautiful structure and breaking the key, but accepts the necessity. He, Zhang, several crawlers, and strippers start a controlled demolition followed by construction of the underground escape channel.
Carl lends Zhang his shrink wand. The crew must avoid two separate temple buildings to prevent provoking Ibeji or Kuraokami.
