Paz Lo

Paz

Paz loses Ogun's grace, reveals Sister Ines's forgotten crimes and racial compulsion, accepts his approaching death, and is unexpectedly converted into a common totem by Ines.

Story so far

Ogun presses a burning hand into Paz's face, briefly heals him, then removes divine grace and the ability to heal his existing condition. The punishment leaves a sideways handprint burned through skin and makes his health resume its permanent decline.

Paz says Ogun cured every prior problem except the Inevitable debuff. In the final minutes, he warns Carl about Ines's Cat Girl compulsion, explaining that he and Anton chose Ogun to resist it but immediately forgot why.

He reveals Ines was a prisoner rather than a prison worker and poisoned the nuns in her convent. Paz says she is mentally ill rather than simply evil and has behaved far better during the crawl, but no nearby ally can safely trust their own judgment.

Paz refuses further potions, prays, believes his soul forgiven, and asks to die peacefully. Ines cannot accept abandonment and drives a squad flag into his neck, successfully converting him into a common card before death.

Appearance
