Faction Warlord Adjutant

Faction Wars Adjutant · Adjutant

A physically present neutral observer who links a Faction Wars team to the rules, other adjutants, and the viewing audience.

Story so far

Each Faction Wars team receives one adjutant. Zev describes the position as a hybrid of manager, liaison, referee, and color commentator. Adjutants can access the rules, communicate openly with counterparts, and have limited power to identify violations, although their traditional effect is mostly symbolic.

The role usually goes to a loud, famous personality and places that person physically on the battlefield. Zev expects an obscure rule to keep adjutants continuously invulnerable even if Carl succeeds in disabling team protections.

Odette has served several times and intends to seek the Princess Posse position. Her history as Mordecai's manager makes the nominally neutral appointment personally explosive.

Appearance

A famous commentator standing between a battlefield team, a rulebook, and a network of linked referees.

Role

The adjutant is the public-facing rule liaison whose selection can reshape the team's internal stability.
