Ninth-Floor Protection Vote

Faction Wars Team Protection Vote

Faction Wars participants can vote on team protections, with Eileithyia promising Carl enough support to disable them after Odette becomes his adjutant.

Story so far

Carl's expected compromise is to seek protections for all crawler-led ninth-floor teams. Eileithyia says the authorities will never allow genuine crawler safety, making that route illusory.

Odette believes the Princess Posse lacks enough votes to turn protections off and will therefore feel safe offering herself as adjutant. Eileithyia wants Carl to accept that offer.

Once Odette is attached to the team, the goddess promises to produce the votes for the opposite result: disabling team protections. Carl privately prefers this outcome for reasons not restated in the message.

The exact electorate, threshold, and consequences remain unrevealed.

Appearance

A nine-faction voting board with shield icons switching from protected to disabled.

Role

The vote is the short-term political mechanism connecting Odette's offer to Eileithyia's larger plan.

Relationships

Eileithyia — She promises to secure the decisive votes.
Carl — He must accept Odette before pursuing his preferred outcome.
Odette — She expects protections cannot be disabled when she offers to join.
Faction Wars — The vote governs ninth-floor team safety rules.
