Celestial Thorn Room Options

Seven Shrine Rewards

The seven shrine options trade divine ascensions, protection, spells, attributes, quest safety, cards, and boons against smites or a city-boss fight.

Story so far

Ogun's shrine prevents his followers' smite but grants nothing else. Legba gives everyone a fifty-percent chance to avoid future smites, level-15 Confusing Fog, and ascends.

Shango grants trainable level-15 Lightning and ascends. Oshun grants protection from five fatal blows, fifty-percent Charisma, level-10 Heal Party, and ascends.

Asojano safely cures the town and completes the quest but does not ascend. Rejecting him releases the horde and requires killing the city boss. Inle grants immunity to most health-seeping conditions and fifty-percent Constitution but returns to the Nothing.

Yemaya ascends, gives each squad a special card, and causes her goddess friend Eileithyia to grant every participant one boon. The party selects Yemaya.

Appearance

Seven illuminated option panels showing an anvil, crossroads sign, lightning, golden river woman, plague mask, sea serpent, and blue river obelisk.

Role

The options define the exact costs and benefits considered during the five-second decision.

Ogun — His option offers only avoidance of his own punishment.
