Summon Guard

Astrid's instant, no-cooldown ability to teleport one to three Desperado guards to herself up to five times daily.

Story so far

Summon Guard is the assassination plan's most urgent contingency. Each invocation teleports between one and three active club guards directly to Astrid's location.

The cast is instantaneous and carries no cooldown. Astrid can spend all five daily uses in succession and surround herself with as many as fifteen guards before an attacker reacts.

Carl does not want to kill guards or reveal crawler involvement. He therefore covers the ambush floor with linked teleport traps that trigger under arriving NPCs and immediately move them into a locked top-floor utility closet.

Because Astrid flies, she should avoid floor traps herself, but Carl explicitly configures fairies as valid targets in case she touches one.

Appearance

A fairy snapping her fingers as three tuxedoed guards appear through overlapping teleport flashes.

Role

Summon Guard is Astrid's immediate reinforcement option and the reason Carl builds a second teleport layer.

Relationships

Astrid — She can invoke it five times per day.
Desperado Club Guards — The spell pulls one to three per use.
Guard Teleport Traps — Carl's traps aim to remove every arrival.
