Victory Party Portal
A post-war portal carries sponsor armies and captive NPCs to another-floor celebration while blocking crawlers.
Story so far
After viceroys secure a last-minute Faction Wars victory, formerly hostile orcs, operatics, nagas, and viceroys gather together laughing. A portal appears to transport them to a nightclub elsewhere in the dungeon.
They drag unwilling NPCs, including librarian elves whose college knowledge helped crawlers survive. A crawler trying to rescue the captives hits an invisible barrier. An orc prince returns just far enough to lasso and kill him through the portal boundary.
Rosetta dreams of finding a way to attack the celebrants from the crawler side one day.
Appearance
A glowing nightclub portal with laughing sponsor armies beyond an invisible glass wall and captive librarian elves.
Role
The portal exposes the sponsor war as staged entertainment and the asymmetric cross-floor rules protecting its victors.
