One Fight for Nine Tokens

Final token vending machine

A disguised soda machine consumes all nine tokens to activate Carl's final arena and cannot be reactivated after departure.

Story so far

The old-style vending machine is covered in weeds and dirt but displays a mustached profile resembling Carl rather than a beverage logo. Its title promises one fight for nine tokens.

A warning says crawlers may leave after activation, but reentry requires depositing another nine tokens. Since the local map contains only one complete set, leaving makes the arena permanently inaccessible.

Donut deposits the collected tokens. An invisible boundary then opens enough for Carl to approach the trailer, while the system imposes a forty-two-minute-thirty-second delay before combat.

Appearance

A weathered soda vending machine bearing a mustached silhouette and nine glowing token slots.

Role

The gate commits the squad to the personalized arena and prevents retreat without forfeiting the key.

Relationships

Princess Donut — She deposits the complete token set.
Carl — The silhouette and fight are customized for him.
Carl's Father's Trailer — The machine controls entry to the trailer zone.
