Glory Bound

The most addictive drug in Katia's mixture, inducing a coma that fully recreates a past memory while threatening progressive insanity during withdrawal.

Story so far

Katia has taken Glory Bound only once, limiting accumulated exposure but still creating immediate addiction. The drug places the user in a coma and recreates a real memory with far greater intensity than blitz.

With Creamsicle Charm and Travis Priest suppressing worry and pain, the user temporarily forgets the present and experiences the past as current reality.

If an addicted user fails to take more, time perception degrades until past and present become indistinguishable. Ordinary abstinence therefore leads toward insanity rather than recovery.

The cure is itself an altered dose of Glory Bound. Mordecai adds ingredients that force the user through one of their worst memories instead of the desired refuge. He can postpone the hallucinations until after Katia's key attempt, but not for long.

Appearance

A dark dose pulling an unconscious user into a vivid beautiful memory, with a second corrupted antidote opening into nightmare.

Role

Glory Bound is the acute cause of Bliss Surfing and the hardest addiction to cure safely.
