Earth Memory Rules

Ghost Environment Rules

Biological recordings are intangible and unaware, but loose objects retain real mass and recorded motion until crawlers, mobs, or accidents disturb them.

Story so far

The floor reproduces Earth's surface and inhabitants at a captured moment. People and animals proceed through recorded routines as invisible-to-map ghosts that cannot see crawlers and pass through living bodies.

Non-biological unattached items remain physical. Crawlers can steal food from a ghost's hand, break buildings, redirect traffic, and be killed by moving vehicles. Interference changes the physical object's course while the ghost continues its original path.

Earth-memory loot turns to dust at floor collapse, preventing the crawlers from carrying modern military stockpiles into Faction Wars.

Appearance

Translucent humans walking through solid movable objects in a fully physical city.

Role

The rules make the historical environment both weapon and hazard without making its people interactive.

Relationships

The Ghosts of Earth — They define its central simulation behavior.
Carl — He immediately explores weaponizing the physical environment.
Earth-Memory Loot — Physical items expire when the floor collapses.
