The Dart of Ophiotaurus

The Divine Dart

The priceless dart summons a worshipped god through another living vessel, leaving a brief pre-immunity window that permits divine death.

Story so far

The party spends half the tenth floor obtaining the artifact before learning the final puzzle specifically needs a storm deity. Unlike a holy grenade, the dart requires a living vessel and cannot target its own user.

Chaco first worships Dodola, then throws the dart into Uzzi because Hold Steady must maintain the puzzle and no ordinary mobs remain. Uzzi's chest opens and the goddess forms through him.

A dart-summoned god remains vulnerable for five units after fully manifesting. Chaco's containment exploits that interval, allowing Dodola's own lightning area attack to kill her.

Appearance

A priceless divine dart that glows with summoning power when aimed at a living vessel.

Role

The dart turns Uzzi into a vessel and creates the otherwise impossible window for a god kill.

Relationships

Chaco — He worships Dodola and throws the artifact.
Uzzi — The dart kills him as its required vessel.
Dodola — It summons her without immediate immunity.
The Holy Grenade — It resembles that artifact but still requires a living vessel.
