A secret passage behind Desperado shops that Astrid uses to respond between upper and middle floors, selected as the assassination site.

Story so far

A utility closet at the end of the shopping hallway hides the corridor entrance. The torchlit passage runs parallel behind the gnome jeweler, other small shops, and Meat Shields.

Astrid uses it when responding from the top floor to problems on this side of the middle floor. The confined route provides concealment, predictable approach, and no public witnesses.

Old Demon Tamer protections make the passage hazardous: alarms, summoning traps, Demon Snares, and an adjacent sealed monster room. Carl clears the trap field and rebuilds it for the assassination.

The location's weakness is catastrophic spillover. Small explosives could open the arena door, and Astrid can instantly fill the narrow hall with guards unless Carl's teleport network works.

Appearance

A narrow torchlit brick corridor behind nightclub shops, lined with hidden floor runes and ending at a fortified door.

The corridor is the carefully engineered kill zone for Astrid.
