Raul Crab Trap

Box Truck Crab Capture

Carl and Donut drop Raul into a crashed moving truck, debuff him, and flag him while the larger crab army ignores the fight.

Story so far

The plan uses the empty cargo space beneath Raul. Donut casts Hole under the crab, drops him inside, and applies Mute before he can complete a ten-second protection chant.

Carl phases through the vehicle to punch while Donut tries to close the roll-up door. Her rope-and-weight approach fails, so Carl uses the truck's walls and floor as phasing shields instead. Fear smoke, Brain Freeze, and a magic missile drive Raul into a corner.

Carl drinks a second phase potion, lowers Raul into capture range, and uses a flag. Nearby crabs who notice are knocked over and eaten by their own migrating army rather than helping.

Afterward, Carl discovers the rear door closes easily with a normal hand pull. The dangerous phasing and elaborate tail-weight scheme were unnecessary, but the party secures its fifth card.

Appearance

A crashed box truck turned into a magical cage, with Hole above, a muted crab inside, and a phasing brawler attacking through walls.

Role

The trap converts an isolated high-level enemy into a totem without alerting the migration.

Relationships

Raul — He is dropped, debuffed, and captured inside it.
Carl — He risks phasing to deliver the damage and flag.
Princess Donut — She provides the drop and control spells.
Southern Crab Migration — The army's indifference prevents reinforcement.
