Deck Exhaustion

Deck Exhausted State

A deck becomes exhausted when every undealt card has entered the current hand, marking empty slots with X symbols and ending future replacement draws.

Story so far

The Royal Court enters its second mock battle with only five cards. The opening hand contains four support cards, leaving Geraldo as the single card still in the deck.

Donut discards Combo, creating a ten-second empty slot. When Geraldo fills that slot, the system declares the deck exhausted because no further cards remain available to draw.

After Donut plays Geraldo and two utilities, X marks appear where used cards would normally be replaced. The final unplayable Time Extend remains in hand until combat ends.

Appearance

Empty hand positions filled by bold X marks beneath a Deck Exhausted notification.

Role

Exhaustion reveals when a squad can no longer replenish its hand and is approaching restoration of the leader's locked abilities.

Relationships

Combat Hand and Discard — The state begins once its timed replacements consume the remaining deck.
The Royal Court of Princess Donut — Its undersized five-card deck exhausts after one replacement.
