Story so far

The temple is an octagonal yellow building with a rotted door, muddy moss-covered tile, collapsed vestibule, moldy wooden ceiling, and a moonlit hole overhead. Seven alcoves hold shattered shrines, one on every wall except the entrance.

Asojano becomes stronger inside and casts a barrier that temporarily prevents unsettled ghommids from entering. He dances around his ruined shrine while forming the Sun of Reawakening.

The neighboring broken monument is Ogun's metal anvil shrine. When its pieces heat and glow, Anton and Paz receive a conflicting divine quest, setting the stage for combat inside the enclosed church.

A decaying octagonal church with seven ruined shrine alcoves, muddy tiles, mold, and moonlight through a broken roof.

Role

The church is the ritual chamber where Asojano's cure collides with Ogun's demand.
