Jola

The Yule Cat

Jola ignores the Death Worm, strips Quan naked with Fashion Critic, and nearly attacks Carl for taking the cloak.

Story so far

Jola arrives through Donut's remote summon and fills the Capitol to the ceiling. Basquiat passes harmlessly through the non-corporeal Yule Cat, leaving Jola focused entirely on Quan's clothing.

He casts Fashion Critic, blasting every equipped item from Quan and dropping the flying crawler to the rubble. Jola begins eating the scattered garments.

Carl inventories the shining cloak. Jola identifies the theft, warns him in Icelandic, and prepares to pounce. The end of Donut's separate duende battle dismisses Jola an instant before the attack.

Appearance

A gigantic spectral Yule Cat filling a grand hall, yellow fashion bolt firing from its mouth.

Role

Jola removes Quan's defensive equipment and flight support but becomes an immediate friendly threat over stolen clothing.
