Quan's Daughter's Ring

A simple gold ring from Quan's pre-collapse life, engraved as a gift to a father.

Story so far

Carl took the ring along with Quan's severed arm at the end of the fifth floor and kept both in inventory. As Quan lies dying, he asks Carl to give something back quickly.

Carl first assumes the request concerns the magical cloak, then realizes Quan means the old ring. Its inner engraving dedicates it to a father, and Quan's remaining tattoo fragment shows the upper half of a young girl's face.

Carl places the ring in Quan's remaining hand. Quan says his daughter would be ashamed of what he became and dies holding it.

Appearance

A plain worn golden band with a short dedication engraved inside.

Role

The ring restores one piece of Quan's original identity at the moment of his death.
