Anti-Demon Automaton Spiders

Story so far

Carl programs a utility spider to carry an attached Demon Snare with boosted yield. The trap cannot restrain Minge's enormous body, but it fastens the construct to her long enough for its blood-water payload to detonate.

Two additional spiders deliver holy-water-infused smoke and then explode inside the demon's level. A fourth construct receives two arms, a claw, a heavy magnet, and a sixty-second delay so it can disassemble the ratchet-braced vorpal wall after Carl escapes.

Minge withstands the first three constructs. The door machine is destroyed early, yet clears enough material for the vorpals to finish their own escape.

Appearance

Four palm-sized metal spiders fitted with a spring trap, smoke canisters, articulated arms, claw, and magnet.

Role

The automatons let Carl attack a vastly stronger demon remotely and trigger a delayed celestial release.
