Story so far
The De-Sleeving reward contains a warm, squishy, self-moving tome chained shut and leaking purple smoke. Mordecai recognizes it as an unusually powerful summoning book.
The spell draws spirits from the river of falling souls into recently removed equipment. Strength and target count vary by multiple factors, duration scales with spell level and intelligence, and only one instance may exist at a time.
Ordinary armor and weapons generally disintegrate when the summon ends, while cursed or enchanted pieces may react unpredictably. Combined with level-fifteen Laundry Day, Donut can strip a group and animate its own gear against the now-unarmored owners.
