Larracos
The faction-war capital city reachable beneath the Desperado Club — the prize the alien armies will fight over on the ninth floor.
Story so far
Larracos is glimpsed as a name over a guarded spiral staircase descending from the Desperado Club's casino, alongside one leading to the Hunting Grounds. A Crocodilian guard, Igor, explains it is the capital city of the disputed lands — the prize over which the galaxy's factions fight. Their armies aren't permitted to make war until crawlers reach the ninth floor, so for now the commanders train and the rest party and gamble with credits below.
To Carl, the ninth floor and Larracos loom as a distant, ominous disaster he doubts he'll live to see.
Appearance
Heard rather than seen this floor — raucous laughter, shouting, and cheering rising up a spiral casino staircase from the city below.
