Voca Nye

the purple variant

A consumable Bautista uses to neutralize a spellcaster's magic — its purple variant cancels the Kravyad's hypnosis.

Story so far

A Voca Nye is a consumable Bautista carries that can neutralize a caster's magic. Trapped at the Kravyad's station 435 on The Iron Tangle, he uses his last one — "the purple variant" — to strip the six-armed HR naga of her hypnosis, saving his crawlers from being mesmerized. The move backfires into a standoff: defenseless, the Kravyad threatens to kill herself, which would snap shut her lifebound escape portal.

Carl has never heard of the item, underscoring the exotic toolkit the veteran crawlers around him carry.
