Blue, six-armed naga-like HR creatures that hypnotize Iron Tangle workers between shifts and eat troublemakers — and gate a lifebound escape portal.
The Kravyad are the human-resources muscle of The Iron Tangle: naga-like beings, blue with six arms, that Madison employs (a few dozen on shift) to keep the floor's dwarf and grapple workers docile. They hypnotize staff coming off the trains into a "pre-production stupor" for eight to twelve hours so no one can request time off — a program Madison boasts lifted productivity 35% — taking their pay by eating a dwarf or two per shift. Workers who wear Madison's gold armband are secretly marked as safe to devour.
Crucially, each Kravyad's station holds an employee portal that dumps riders straight onto the platform, but it is lifebound: kill the Kravyad and the portal snaps shut. That makes station 435 a cruel puzzle for Bautista's trapped crawlers, who must keep the creature — boss or not — alive to use its exit.
A naga-like being: a serpentine lower body and humanoid torso, colored blue, with six arms; hypnotic and ravenous, though officially a Non-Combatant HR worker.
HR enforcers who drug the workforce and gate the lifebound employee portals — turning station 435 into a keep-it-alive escape puzzle.
