Hole

Hole spell

Donut's spell that opens a temporary hole in any surface — the party's key to reaching through walls and doors.

Story so far

Hole is a spell Princess Donut receives by mail at station 83 and, at first, dismisses as useless — a level-one cast makes only a one-inch dimple. Mordecai insists it is powerful with creativity, and he is proven right: as Donut levels it (three centimeters of depth per level), it becomes deep enough to pierce doors, letting the party reach through walls without opening them. Paired with Clockwork Triplicate, it lets duplicate Mongos appear through a hole to clear rooms.

It becomes the linchpin of the party's "Surprise" tactics — and the move that lets Carl reach through a metal barrier to rip off the war mage Dismember's head.

Appearance

A neat circular opening that irises open in any surface, walls, doors, floors, then vanishes cleanly when dismissed.

Role

Utility spell for breaching, ambushing, and reaching through barriers.

Relationships

Princess Donut — Her spell, grown from a party joke into a signature tool.
Clockwork Triplicate — Combined with Hole to send duplicate Mongos through walls.
