Jabbering Jibber Jabber

Jabbering Jibber-Jabber · the mouth minions · mimic mouths

Rhino-sized reanimated buffet-mouths — splitter minions of the Mimic Rex that devour anything and feed the energy back to their master.

Story so far

The Jabbering Jibber-Jabbers are the level-35 minions of the Mimic Rex, belched forth by the hundreds in trainyard E. Each is an impossible piece of anatomy — a giant slobbering mouth of needle teeth on chattering millipede legs, ranging from car- to rhino-sized, like a wind-up toy that's nothing but a snapping maw. Per their lore, they're the reanimated mouths of miserable cheap-buffet gluttons, in constant pain that only feeding relieves; anything they eat is instantly converted to stored energy and returned to their master.

They're splitters — killing one may spawn smaller copies. Carl destroys one by leaping through its open mouth and dropping an impact-detonated hob-lobber down its gullet, blowing it apart so cleanly nothing gets back up.

Appearance

A giant disembodied mouth of sharp needle-like teeth, car- to rhino-sized, scuttling on centipede-like legs and snapping open and shut like an alligator.
