Seven-foot rock monsters of few words, they're stunned when a crawler ambushes Princess Donut on the dance floor — but rather than let them be punished, Carl asks Astrid to spare and permanently re-assign them, reasoning they'll be loyal now. The Sledge gently pats Donut, dances with her, and later buys a protection spell with his own money to shield her, while Bomo grows quietly diligent.
They become the party's steadfast, if dim, muscle.
