Mantaur

mantaurs · the mantaur bosses

Powerful minotaur-like neighborhood bosses of the train floor — the last dungeon faction to keep faith with the crawlers as the NPCs turn.

Story so far

Mantaurs are hulking minotaur-like monsters of the Iron Tangle, each a neighborhood boss strong enough to be a serious threat in numbers. As the floor collapses, a platoon of them holds the employee station 60, one wielding a captured alarm trap whose looping heavy-metal song buffs the herd and makes crawlers' ears bleed — pinning Daniel Bautista's crew. Yet Fire Brandy notes the mantaurs are 'the only ones holding the faith' after the dwarves and gremlins turn on their own and lynch Madison; a few even tried to fight the dwarves before being chased off.

Lucia Mar was earlier seen beating one to death against a train on the recap. Brutish but, oddly, the floor's last loyal creatures.
