A concealed network of cat-sized passages links the High Elf Castle's private spaces and provides a covert route to the third-floor security room.

Story so far

Louis recognizes that the seemingly irrational ducts are modeled for a cat rather than ventilation. They wind around private spaces, rise in easy jumping switchbacks, and connect directly to the security room.

The coalition selects Samantha to enter from the first floor, climb to the fifth, cross the main thoroughfare, and descend to the third. The route is difficult enough that she needs live directions from Firas.

Ferdinand uses the passages freely, removing his huge hat and carrying it in his mouth when the way narrows. Samantha exploits this blindness to remain hidden.

Appearance

Narrow ornate passages with feline-scale ramps, switchbacks, peepholes, and concealed room openings.

Role

The tunnels are the coalition's covert access route to the ballroom's inventory and magic controls.

Relationships

Ferdinand — The castle contains the passages he secretly added for his own movement and spying.

Samantha — She infiltrates them to approach security.
