Refreshing Bed

the new beds

An upgraded saferoom bed that resets a crawler in two hours — and, incidentally, cured Carl's snoring.

Story so far

The Refreshing Bed gets its moment in the chapter's opening and closing jokes. Walking out of the studio, Princess Donut volunteers that yes, Carl does snore — or at least he used to, because he doesn't anymore with the new beds.

At the end of the chapter Carl uses the same bed to sleep for two hours and reset everything before going back out, and he uses the same fact to make peace: he tells Donut she snores too, and she replies that she has never snored once in her life, being both a princess and a cat.

Appearance

An upgraded bed in the saferoom's bedroom that restores a crawler fully in a two-hour sleep.
