Remex

A former crawler repeatedly used Zerzura to move and level with an army, only to have the Scolopendra skip drop them into ninth-floor faction wars.

Story so far

Remex obtains Zerzura on the fourth floor and uses it to move his town-army to the fifth and sixth floors. The revenants created by each landing provide a dangerous but efficient leveling engine.

His next cast skips both seventh and eighth floors and lands on the ninth. Unprepared NPCs and mercenaries are slaughtered by revenants and faction-war forces. Remex becomes a one-bird army and ultimately gives up everything to save his child. Carl later frees him, reminding Quasar that the famous subject still existed.

Role

Remex's tragedy proves Zerzura's skip behavior and the catastrophic danger awaiting the changelings.
