The Prize Counter

Award Table

A holographic carousel exchanges crawler scalps or hunter hands for potions, upgrades, spellbooks, future-floor boons, equipment, and Imogen's Memorial Crystal.

Story so far

Chaco's glass case displays miniature rotating holograms. Purchases enter inventory as sealed prize boxes because guests cannot access items in the ballroom; hunters with limited storage must open them before floor end. Immediate stat or skill upgrades install directly.

Low tiers include cases of healing or mana potions, a once-only ten-percent lowest-stat increase, five-percent highest-stat increase, or plus two to a random combat skill. Mid tiers add specialist potions, scrolls, sheet music, wands, Drop Shields, and spellbooks. Thirty-hand Future Floor Boons grant next-floor advantages. Fifty hands buys armor, weapons, or costly spells.

The unique hundred-hand Memorial Crystal is Imogen's most valued possession and returns to her if unsold. Hands cannot be pooled, and new trophy boxes cannot be opened inside the castle.

Appearance

A glass booth containing a vertical carousel of miniature holographic rewards arranged by hand or scalp cost.

Role

The counter converts the season's killings into tactical upgrades while exposing the queen's compulsory stake.

Chaco — He administers sales and prize-box delivery.
