Mordecai's Shopping List
The alchemical want-list that keeps Carl stooping for screaming mushrooms in the middle of a war.
Story so far
Even while Princess Donut is delivering a full critique of the storyline they have been written into, Carl keeps stopping to pick a group of mushrooms he recognises from Mordecai's list — each one crying out as it is pulled from the ground, each one worth a small amount of experience.
It is a small, telling piece of discipline: the list keeps working in the background through the rain, the hunter corpse, the The Hunter Territory Map and Quasar's bad news, because whatever else the ninth floor becomes, the crafting economy behind it does not pause.
Appearance
An inventory of alchemical and crafting reagents Carl carries in his head, recognisable enough that he can spot a listed mushroom in jungle undergrowth at a glance.
Role
The standing reagent list that shapes Carl's foraging habits across the floor.
