Security Room Killings

All five elves in the castle security room are found dead before Samantha enters, proving an unknown infiltrator is already manipulating the ballroom controls.

Story so far

Samantha reaches the concealed opening above the third-floor security room expecting to disable five guards with a sleep-potion ball. She has abandoned the ball and initially appears to have doomed the mission.

Instead, she discovers every guard already dead. The killings precede Queen Imogen's arrival and leave the control room exposed to both Samantha and whoever entered first, creating a second hidden operation inside the castle.
