The third-floor control chamber is the coalition's target for disabling the ballroom's inventory and magic restrictions.

Story so far

A concealed Ferdinand tunnel opens above the security room, making it accessible without crossing the watched ballroom exits. The infiltration plan calls for Samantha to drop a sleep-potion ball among the five elf guards and manipulate the controls.

When Samantha reaches the chamber, she has already discarded the potion. More alarmingly, she reports that all five guards are dead before she acts. The identity and objective of whoever cleared the room remain unknown as the queen seals the party.
