character

Daniel Bautista

Bautista

Bautista reveals his relationship with Katia, prepares for the Masquerade as rank 23, and inventories sponsored toy variants for hidden behavioral differences.

Story so far

The orange tiger-headed crawler arranges dozens of tagged Jaxbrin beanies across Team Katia's kitchen table. Rare variations may differ only in color or stitching but behave differently when activated, so he compares each sample manually.

Bautista is ranked twenty-third and expects to attend the Masquerade. His relationship with Katia Grim has quietly become romantic. He is visibly relieved when Carl calls Katia a sister and supports them, having feared Carl might see her as a romantic interest.

A sponsor recently removed Bautista from the dungeon for a commercial. He stole the entire sample box afterward, including roughly one hundred Slate Butterflies, and offers several to Carl.

Appearance

An orange tiger-headed humanoid crawler sorting rows of colorful tagged stuffed animals.

Role

Bautista combines an emerging relationship with Katia, top-fifty party access, and a potentially useful cache of toy summons.

Relationships

Katia Grim — They have entered a romantic relationship.
Carl — He seeks and receives Carl's implicit approval.
Princess Donut — She reacts possessively and incredulously to his relationship.
Stuffed Slate Butterfly Figure — He owns about one hundred and offers several away.
