A drunk level 50 Draconian Striver, unaffiliated hunter, marked and beaten to death by Carl purely as bait.
Chin'Dua stumbled out of The Scuttlebutt on the eve of the hunt and leaned against one of Carl's barrel bombs, a Dirty Shirley with a purple umbrella and floating cherries clutched in his claw. His examination read "Chin'Dua – Draconian. Level 50. Striver. This is an Unaffiliated Hunter." Carrying no magical gear, he had likely only been on the floor a few hours. His mere presence degraded the bomb's stability.
Carl marked him with the Ring of Divine Suffering — his highest stat was Dexterity — and let his invisibility drop. The drunk Draconian could only whisper that Carl wasn't supposed to be here, then identified the flying light overhead as Xindy, Vrah's little sister. Carl leaned in, said "Wanna hear a secret? I'm using you as bait," and after the missile volley killed Xindy, punched him down and crushed his head underfoot, his cherries rolling down the sidewalk.
A tall, lanky scaled creature with a dragon's head and clawed hands, swaying drunk on the sidewalk with a cocktail glass.
The bait mark whose death drives Carl's ring and the Left to Fester debuff spread onto Xindy.
