The Night Wyrm's Nasty Little Web of Suffering

the spiderweb tattoo · Carl's elbow tattoo · Night Wyrms Nasty Little Web of Suffering

A green-tinted spiderweb sigil tattooed on Carl's elbow that grants access to the Guild of Suffering.

Story so far

When Carl's Gold Junkie's box opens, a spiderweb pattern appears in the air and fades, and nothing comes out — then the tattoo forms on his left elbow. It is his biggest yet and his third in a week: a spiderweb whose individual strands are segmented and worm-like, faded, green-tinted, and poorly drawn. Louis thinks it looks sick; Firas says his uncle got the same one in prison; Princess Donut says Carl might as well grow a beard and knock over a liquor store.

Examining it reveals the name and a single line: bearers of this sigil are given access to the Guild of Suffering. Mordecai explains that everybody who uses a divine suffering artifact gets marked this way, tying the sigil to Carl's Ring of Divine Suffering and the cult of the Night Wyrm.

Appearance

A large, faded, green-tinted spiderweb sprawling across the left elbow, its strands segmented and worm-like, crudely drawn like a prison tattoo.
