Odious Blossom

Odious Bloom

A rare parasitic plant likely commandeers Big Tina's abandoned glamoured fragments and rapidly turns them into Odious Creepers.

Story so far

Mordecai explains that undead or bereft minions can be taken over by certain plants. Big Tina's self-building fragments would ordinarily become Glamoured Creepers after restoring seventy percent of their bodies. Once their controller is cured, an Odious Blossom likely seizes the bodies instead.

The natural process is rare and slow, but the dungeon accelerates it to manufacture The Creeping Apocalypse. Mordecai has previously designed a treatment for an Odious Bloom, but these transformed composite monsters differ enough that he cannot promise the same approach will work without trial and error.

Appearance

A malignant parasitic blossom spreading roots and vines through undead tissue.

Role

The plant explains how uncontrolled undead bodies become the unprecedented Creepers.

Relationships

Odious Creeper — It likely transforms and controls the fragment-built bodies.
Big Tina — It commandeers the undead Tina leaves behind.
Mordecai — He recognizes the likely process but lacks time to formulate a proven treatment.
