A crowdsourced map of the sixth floor built from gate coordinates and crawler sightings, coordinated by Imani.
Katia built the map from the gate coordinates Gwen's team looted off the body of the Quetzalcoatlus on the previous floor, and drew Carl a paper copy nearly identical to the one already in his Scratchpad, copied from the Bomber's Cookbook. Translating the coordinates, she put the floor at roughly 100,000 square kilometers — similar in size and even shape to Iceland — about 400-some kilometers north to south and 300-some east to west, with a river meandering some 500 kilometers from the northeast corner to the southwest.
Crawlers are using the same information-gathering system they used on the Iron Tangle: every time someone finds something new, they call it in. Imani mostly coordinates it while Katia copies everything down, so roads, bridges, and settlements are marked as estimates. After Miriam Dom told him the caravan roads are swept clear by bodyguards' anti-trap spells, Carl asked Katia to spread the word and get the regular caravan routes added.
