character

Tarik

former corporate combat-squad member

Tarik coaxes an antique aircraft through a blind tunnel, reaches Ratthi's hidden shuttle, and helps pilot the team into university protection.

Story so far

Tarik used corporate combat training to protect the polar colonists and fought his way through the attempted abduction. With Leonide, he starts a patched ancient aircraft while Murderbot and ART-drone are badly damaged.

Tarik co-pilots the pseudohopper at high speed through an unmarked emergency-lit tunnel, trading insults with Leonide while relying on Murderbot's map and the craft's rudimentary self-navigation. He identifies Ratthi's camouflaged shuttle only at close range, helps recover the survival tent, and resumes monitoring flight controls as the bot pilot ascends through blackout interference. When the university beacon appears, Tarik recognizes Holism and voices the exhausted relief shared by the entire team.

Appearance

An adult human mission and security specialist of unspecified skin tone, hair, facial features, and build, wearing a practical environmental suit in the shuttle cockpit.

Role

Tarik is the human pilot whose nerve and unfamiliar-vehicle judgment complete the team's underground escape.

Relationships

Ratthi — Ratthi prepares the hidden rendezvous Tarik reaches, and their reunion places both safely aboard the same shuttle again.
Leonide — Leonide shares the pseudohopper controls with Tarik until mutual necessity gets them through the tunnel.
Holism — Holism's university beacon is the first unmistakable sign to Tarik that the rescue has gained outside support.
